Welcome to the hfrmobile newsletter 2006-03#18! Thank you for subscribing to the hfrmobile newsletter in order to stay informed about new applications, bug fixes, problems and their solutions. -- Internal improvements I have done some work at hfrmobile.com to improve your browsing experience. This improvements were also done for the mobile version of hfrmobile.com! URL: http://www.hfrmobile.com/ URL: http://www.hfrmobile.com/mobile.htm -- RSS Feed Added a RSS feed in order to read hfrmobile news with more comfort. For reading this RSS feed on a Pocket PC I recommend "pRSSreader" (http://pda.jasnapaka.com/prssr). This is a free RSS reader for Pocket PC which even works on a PPC2002. Reading this RSS feed on a desktop PC I am using Firefox 1.5 + Sage! Sage is a Firefox extension for reading RSS with Firefox 1.5! If you are using Microsoft IE you need to wait for IE 7.0 or use www.live.com for reading RSS feeds with IE 6.0! URL: http://www.hfrmobile.com/hfrmobile.xml URL: http://www.hfrmobile.com/whatsnew.htm -- PDAStore 1.0 RC4 I added the fourth release candidate for PDAStore and extended the expire date so that users have more time to evaluate PDAStore. Fixed some minor bugs in this release. I also added a new application called PDAStore Command which is a command line tool which enables you to convert text files to PDAStore files (*.pdas)! For example I converted my movie database (Pocket Excel file) to a PDAStore file. I adjusted the Pocket Excel file to my needs and used Copy&Paste in order to paste the contents to a text file. Then I adjusted the text file a bit so that PDAStore Command understands it. I added an sample text file "Top50Movies.txt" in order to show you how such a text file should look like. I used UAEDT's "Database features" to clean my e-mail databases. There where a lot of "dead" databases on the device (possible caused by hard-resets and restore from backups). If you discover that storage is getting rare on your device just try to clean your CE databases using UAEDT. But doing so, you do it at your own risk!
