I used my new Hotmail address (Windows Live ID, successor of the Passport thing) to create an account for Microsoft's www.live.com!

Then I used MSN Mobile on my old Pocket LOOX device (connection to the Internet via Bluetooth and MDA Compact which is a Pocket PC Phone Edition). Why not directly with the MDA Compact? Just for fun and the old LOOX 600 has a bigger display and I liked to know how surfing with Pocket IE (PPC2002) works. It just worked fine!

Using this configuration I created my own MSN Space for hfrmobile.

Improved browsing experience at hfrmobile.com in that way if you have an old link (e.g. Voyager 3.0 PreviewB) hfrmobile.com offers you the new link if available. This is often the case if you came from a foreign site to hfrmobile.com which has not updated it's links.

Also improved browsing for mobile browsers beside Pocket IE (e.g. Opera Mini)!

-- POICMD 1.0
A new application named POICMD ("POI Command" or "PointOfInterest Command") has been released now!
POICMD allows you to handle ".OV2" (TTN point of interest) files and ".KML" (Google Earth Place) files.

Version 1.0 is available now! Using PDAStore you are able to organize your personal "knowledge base", "movie index", "recipes" or whatever you want on your mobile device.

-- Something about TomTom
I am still using TTN3 because it just does it's job on my old Pocket LOOX 600 (also using a Brodit car holder). So there is no reason for me to change a running system ;-)

TomTom released TomTom GO 910 which is amazing! One of the great features is "text-to-speech". I tried this on the TomTom homepage and created some Wave files for CheckPOInt (powered by Loquendo).

I never heard a better machine generated human voice like this!
