In order to use a Switch plug-in download the .CAB file and copy this to your PDA and execute it in order to install the plug-In. Since the plug-in was installed successfully you have to restart Switch in order to make them visible to Switch.
Plug-Ins are generally supported since Switch Version 1.22 (PPC platform)! Some special plug-in types are supported since 1.25 Beta1!
These plug-ins were tested with PPC2002 and WM2003 SE.
|Memory||Displays the first tab of the Memory control applet. This applet displays the main memory (Data memory, application memory) of your Pocket PC.|
|Memory Cards||Displays the second tab of the Memory control applet. This applet displays all inserted memory cards and their storage usage. Displays also internal Flash-Memory (LOOXstore, iPAQ file store)|
|Memory Running Apps||Displays the third tab of the Memory control applet which displays all running applications. For Switch Version 1.22 (and above) this is useful if you have started the Calculator application which cannot be closed with Switch because it is not displayed as a running application by Switch. This is a known bug of Switch and this plug-in can be used as a workaround with PPC2002 devices. The problem does not occur under WM2003.|
|Notes||Displays the Notes application. For Switch Version 1.25 Beta1 (and above)!|
|Password||Displays the Password control applet. You have to type in your password in order to close this applet. CAUTION: After you have typed in your password the password is displayed as CLEAR TEXT (which is a bit stupid in my opinion...)|
|PDATextClipboard||Available since Switch 1.25 Beta1 and RCMD 1.52! This plug-in requires RCMD 1.52 or higher to be installed on the desktop machine. PDATextClipboard enables you to exchange text between your PDA and your desktop machine. PdaTextClipboard.cmd is located in the application directory on the PDA and can be copied to the desktop machine. This command script is used to open text which is located on the PDA to be opened on the desktop machine.|
|Power||Displays the power control applet. This applet displays the status of the main battery and backup battery (if available).|
